Freedom is everything. Living things
feel better when set free. Freedom allows us to explore beyond our normal
limits.
Confinement restricts ones freedom of
movement, ability to maneuver, mental flexibility, intellectual prowess and
both physical and psychological development in an individual.
Entrepreneurial skills are hindered when we are restricted and
closed in within confining boundaries. An entrepreneur is often times a
“Go-Getter” who works better in a free environment that offers a variety of
options to choose from.
Intellectual prowess and business acumen excel where a person’s
participation in company activities is not restricted. Much better still, if
such participation is allowed to extend for as long as an individual would like
to involve themselves, for instance, a life time, we tend to feel better.
If a company’s management assures you about participating in a
venture “with no obligation”, that is, “Your freedom to quit at will”. This
portrays a mark of concern for the worker’s welfare. It shows a willingness by
the manager to “let the worker go” at any time of their choice, without any
extreme conditions to tie them down to the company or business, including
financial commitments. Not many businesses operate under such circumstances. We
live in situations where somebody is always looking over your shoulders to make
you accountable for everything you do.
Network marketing such as Multi-Level Marketing
(MLM) does not provide a degree of free participation to affiliates. Affiliates
are pinned down by the sales they have to make each day.
